About Brenna

Brenna Rhodes is a native Texan with a passion for growing good things and cooking from scratch. She’s been married to Mike for almost 30 years, and they have four great kids.  She homeschools and is teaching her middle schooler this year. The older three children graduated homeschool and are pursuing college degrees. Her favorite part of teaching is using Real Life University ideals to raise capable young people.

Brenna holds a B.S. degree in Agronomy from Texas A&M University, and she deeply appreciates the chance to keep on learning. She is a proud keeper of the home, and also manages their small farm where three generations of family work together every day. As an Airbnb Superhost, she hosts guests at the family’s country cottage on the creek.

Brenna has a tender heart for adoption and forever families. Her other passions include writing and encouraging Christian women with insights that uplift and equip them to serve their families well.
